LiDAR navigation for shaded, complex lawns
The Roborock RockMow X120H LiDAR combines 360° 3D LiDAR with VSLAM and binocular-camera perception for wire-free mowing. It does not require an external RTK antenna, making it worth considering where trees or buildings limit satellite-based mowing systems.
Four-wheel drive, active steering and dynamic suspension help it navigate challenging terrain. Manufacturer performance ratings are not a guarantee for every property.

What makes this model different?
360° 3D LiDAR and camera-assisted perception
Sentisphere LiDAR Environmental Perception combines LiDAR with VSLAM for positioning and navigation. The binocular camera contributes environmental perception. The mower's GNSS location functionality should not be confused with RTK mowing navigation.
AWD, active steering and suspension
Roborock rates the platform for slopes up to 38.7° (80%) and obstacles up to approximately 3.1 in (8 cm). Accessory configuration and operating conditions can affect obstacle clearance; confirm requirements before using that limit.
Electric height adjustment and six-blade cutting
The 9.4-inch (24 cm) cutting system uses six blades. Adjust cutting height electrically from approximately 1.6 to 3.5 inches (40–90 mm).
App-managed mowing, with firmware-dependent features
Set mowing schedules and manage mapped areas in the Roborock app. Automatic mapping, custom patterns and some advanced functions depend on the supported firmware/app release and lawn conditions. Roborock's U.S. product page marks certain functions as OTA-dependent; do not assume every advertised function is available on every installed version.
Optional closer edge cutting
The PreciEdge cutting module is sold separately. The standard mower listing does not include that accessory unless your selected bundle expressly says so.

Frequently asked questions
Does it need an RTK antenna or boundary wire?
No external RTK antenna or boundary wire is required. The X120H LiDAR uses LiDAR and camera-assisted mapping/navigation. Create and manage its lawn map in the Roborock app.
Does it automatically map every yard?
Automatic mapping depends on the supported firmware, app version and whether the lawn has suitable, recognizable boundaries. Check the installed version and manufacturer's instructions; manual guidance during mapping may be required.
How many zones can I use?
Current manufacturer help guidance lists up to 28 mowing zones and 90 no-go zones with supported firmware. Confirm the limits available in your app.
Can it mow at night?
The U.S. manual supports night operation using the camera fill light together with LiDAR perception. Choose a schedule appropriate for local wildlife and the conditions.
Is PreciEdge included?
No. It is an optional, separately sold module unless expressly included in the purchased bundle.
What is the warranty?
The U.S. limited warranty lists three years for the main unit and two years for the battery. Consumables and other exclusions apply. Refer to Roborock's U.S. warranty policy for complete terms.
